01 Shared kitchenette

Coffee at any hour, and something to go with it.

A common kitchenette off the landing, kept stocked around the clock — a pot of coffee and a kettle for tea, a tin of snacks for the in-between hours, and a microwave and small refrigerator for whatever you carried in.

The mugs are the local clay. Help yourself, and again.

24-hour coffee & tea
Snacks, restocked daily
Microwave & mini-fridge

02 24-hour self check-in

Arrive on your own time, even at midnight.

No front desk to make and no key to collect in person. We send a door code the morning you arrive; let yourself in through the front doors whenever the road finally delivers you.

The house is yours from three in the afternoon — the code works the moment you have it, and a lamp is left lit in the hall.

03 The sauna

Heat, for after the cold.

Newly added to the house and free to book — a quiet room to thaw out in after a day on the snow, or before a long evening by the fire.

Towels are stacked at the door. Reserve an hour at the desk, or on your way past.

Fibre, end to end
8 Gbit

Fast enough to forget where you are.

Eight-gigabit fibre runs into the house, with wifi in every room and out on the porch — enough to move a day's work, a film, or a household of devices without a second thought. Rare for a back road in the hills. We rather like that.

And the rest

Small comforts,
all included.

The quiet things we don't charge for, because a house ought to look after the people in it.

01

Free on-site parking

Steps from the door and plowed by dawn — leave the car where it lands and forget it.

02

Sitting rooms on every landing

Quiet corners with a worn chair, a lamp, and the long light off the valley.

03

Ski & boot storage

A warm, dry place for skis and wet boots after a day at Saskadena Six or Okemo.

04

Fresh linen & towels

Turned daily, and line-dried in the yard whenever the weather allows it.

05

The good maple

Tapped from the trees behind the barn — a jug at breakfast and a jar to take home.

06

Dark, quiet skies

The lower field left unmown, the Milky Way overhead, and nothing in the way.

A little extra

By arrangement.

A few things we'll set up for you ahead of time, for a fee — asked for at booking, ready before you arrive.

Pantry pre-stock

Send a list and find it waiting: the coffee you like, wine for the fire, and breakfast for the first slow morning.

Around the house

Pine walls, a curved stair, and the snow that brings it all to a stop.

At the desk

Ask for anything the house can carry, and we'll have it waiting when you arrive.

An extra cot, a crib, a dietary note for breakfast, a late checkout when the road's bad — tell us at booking and it's done.
